In addition to the basic and specific skills of Order CIN/351/2009, they must acquire those established as descriptors and contents of common basic subjects in the branch of knowledge of Engineering and Architecture, approved by the Governing Council of the ULL on April 22, 2008.
[CB1] Students have demonstrated that they possess and understand knowledge in an area of study that is based on the foundation of general secondary education, and is usually at a level that, while supported by advanced textbooks, also includes some aspects that involve knowledge from the forefront of their field of study.
[CB2] Students know how to apply their knowledge to their work or vocation in a professional manner and possess the skills that are usually demonstrated through the development and defense of arguments and the resolution of problems within their area of study.

[T1] Ability to draft, sign and develop projects in the field of Mechanical Industrial Engineering that have as their object, in accordance with the knowledge acquired as established in section 5 of this order, the construction, reform, repair, conservation, demolition, manufacturing, installation, assembly or operation of: structures, mechanical equipment, energy installations, electrical and electronic installations, industrial installations and plants and manufacturing and automation processes. [T2] Ability to manage the activities subject to the engineering projects described in the previous section ([T1]) [T3] Knowledge of basic and technological subjects, which enables them to learn new methods and theories, and provides them with versatility to adapt to new situations. [1] Understanding and mastery of the basic concepts of the general laws of mechanics, thermodynamics, fields and waves and electromagnetism and their application to solve engineering problems. [2] Ability to solve mathematical problems that may arise in engineering. Aptitude to apply knowledge of: linear algebra; geometry; differential geometry; differential and integral calculus; differential and partial derivative equations; numerical methods; numerical algorithms; statistics and optimization.
