She obtained her MSc and PhD at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain).  The research during her pre-doctoral stage was focused on the development of lipid nanoparticles using Artificial Intelligence tools, as well as in the physical, physicochemical, and biological characterization of these systems. Her current research at the University of La Laguna (Spain) is aimed to develop lipid-polymer hybrid nanoparticles, targeted with specific aptamers and antibodies while loaded with oligonucleotides.
