Mobility for teaching and research staff to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to their positions and their professional development in European universities, research institutes, or companies. This also allows for the consolidation and expansion of links between the centers, departments, and faculties participating in the Erasmus+ program and the development of new teaching materials.

Modalities

Attendance at conferences, congresses or similar meetings is excluded.

Call 2025

Call for applications and grants to participate in international training mobility (STT) and teaching mobility (STA) activities for teachers within the framework of the Erasmus+ program in 2025.

Application deadline from 05/05/2025 to 23/05/2025.

Deadline for correction: from 01/08/2025 to 01/09/2025

Deadline for accepting the place/aid by submitting the grant agreement: from 06/11/2025 to 19/11/2025

Deadline for submitting the training plan or teaching program for the individuals listed in Annex III: from 06/11/2025 to 19/11/2025

Resolution 120/2025, which publishes the third location for presentation of the training plan / teaching program and the second final award of financial aid.

Deadline for submitting the training plan / teaching program and the grant agreement (acceptance of aid) of December 1, 2025 to December 15, 2025

Implementation of mobility programs: until May 31, 2026, and only when all the obligations established in the call for applications are met after the publication of the final resolution granting aid.

Call 2024

Access to the 2024 Call
The Erasmus+ Programme offers teaching opportunities for teaching staff at higher education institutions and guest staff from companies, as well as training opportunities for teaching and non-teaching staff at higher education institutions.
Staff mobility for teaching purposes (STA) can affect any area of knowledge/academic discipline.
Training activities (STT) can be carried out at a university or other higher education institution participating in the Erasmus+ Programme, as well as in companies or other centres located in one of the countries participating in the Programme.
The duration of both activities (KA131) is from 2 days to 2 months, excluding travel. The minimum 2 days must be consecutive. In all cases, teaching activities must comprise a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week (or a shorter period of stay). If the mobility lasts more than one week, the minimum number of teaching hours for an incomplete week will be proportional to the duration of that week.
Both types of mobility should not start before March 1, 2024, and may not end after May 31, 2025.

How to apply?

The applicant must participate in the call for aid published annually by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation by submitting their application through the electronic headquarters.

Submission deadline: 15 business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOC.

Applications must be accompanied by the following documentation:

  • For both modalities:
    • Declaration of compliance with tax and social security obligations (included in the application itself).
    • Document proving knowledge of the language in which the activity will be conducted. Accepted certificates, in addition to those issued by the ULL Language Service, will be: recommended by CRUEThis requirement must be accredited at the latest at the time of delivery of the mobility agreement.
  • For training mobilities (STT):
    • Training plan to be developed in the host institution or company, duly completed in accordance with the standardized form Training plan, PF_STT+This document must be signed by the ULL Department Director and the host institution or company.
  • For teaching mobility (STA):

Requirements

To be eligible to participate in the call, applicants must meet the following requirements:

For both modalities:

  • Have employment or civil service relationship as an active PDI of the ULL, both at the time of the application and during the mobility.
  • Accredit the knowledge of the language in which the teaching or training activity will be carried out, required in the bilateral agreement (in the case of STA) or in the training program (for STT mobilities).

Mobility characteristics

Purpose of mobility
  • Teaching Mobility (STA): Teach a teaching program at a higher education institution with which there is a valid bilateral teaching agreement. The number of teaching hours will depend on the duration of the mobility:
    • Mobilities of 2 to 5 school days in which teaching is given: minimum 8 hours.
    • Mobility lasting more than 5 days: at least 1.5 hours per day from the sixth day. For example, for a 7-day mobility program: 8 hours (days 2 to 5) + 3 hours (1.5 hours x 2, corresponding to the sixth and seventh days). Total: 11 hours.
  • Training mobility (STT): Complete a training period at a university or other higher education institution participating in the Erasmus+ program, as well as at companies or other centers located in one of the program's participating countries.
Duration of mobility

For both modalities: between 2 and 60 days, excluding travel days.

Financing

Maximum 5 working days.

Dates

The mobility must be completed before May 31, 2026, and only when the participant fulfills all obligations following the publication of the final resolution granting the grant.

Financing

The same applicant may simultaneously receive a mobility grant for training (STT) and a mobility grant for teaching (STA), provided there are no reserve lists for either type.

Mobility grants are intended to contribute to travel and subsistence expenses.

  • The travel expenses They are calculated based on the distance, according to the table included in the call, and calculated using the European Commission Distance Calculator.
  • The amounts of the living expenses are calculated based on the destination country, according to the table included in the call, up to a maximum of 5 working days.

The grant will be paid by bank transfer in two installments:

  • 70% after the publication of the Resolution granting aid and the provision of the required documentation by the beneficiary.
  • 30% remaining once the stay has been financed and the mobility justified.

Instructions for the selected POI

Before the start of mobility:

  1. Resolution granting aid. It will be published on the Vice-Rector's website, and notifications will be sent to the beneficiaries via their institutional email address, along with an SMS notification.
  2. Acceptance of aid. Beneficiaries will have a period of 10 business days after the publication of the grant resolution to accept the aid. Acceptance will be made by adding the financial agreement to the electronic headquarters application file for participation in this call, using the "Add new documentation" option. Failure to submit this form within the established timeframe and by the established means will result in the loss of the aid granted.
  3. Contribute insurance policy to the electronic application file for participation in this call, using the "Add new documentation" option, which must cover at least the following aspects during the mobility period:
    • Travel insurance (including damage or loss of luggage)
    • Liability insurance (including, where applicable, professional liability)
    • Accident and serious illness insurance (including temporary or permanent disability)
    • Death insurance (including repatriation)

After mobility

In it within 1 month From the end of the stay, the justification of the subsidy must be submitted to the electronic office file with the following documents:

to) Boarding passes of displacement.

b) Bill or proof of purchase of the ticket stating the travel dates and amount.

c) Certificate of stay:

  • Training mobility (STT): Certificate of stay signed by the host institution or company stating the exact number of days of the stay, excluding travel days, according to the standard model found in the section on Printed matter: certificate of stay (CE_STT+).
  • Teaching mobility (STA): Certificate of stay from the host institution stating the dates of the stay and the number of teaching hours given in accordance with the standardized CE_STA+ model found in the section Printed matter: certificate of stay (CE_STA+)

d) Final report of the activities carried out and any other type of information or material that allows to verify that the mobility objectives have been met.

The beneficiary PDI must complete the online questionnaire (EU Survey) that you will receive in your email after completing the mobility. You will have 30 calendar days for completion and submission. Submission of this questionnaire is essential requirement for the payment of the remaining 30% of the subsidy and its omission may entail the claim for the full refund of the amounts received.
