Recognition and transfer of credits

Credit Recognition implies the acceptance by the University of the credits obtained, in accordance with the provisions of the Verification/Modification Report of the Degree and the provisions of the applicable regulations, that is, the Regulations for the Recognition, Adaptation and Transfer of Credits of the University of La Laguna. Credits corresponding to the Master's Final Project subjects may not be recognized (Art. 6.2 of RD 1393/2007 on the regulation of official university education).

 

Specific information

This Master's Degree establishes a maximum of 6 ECTS credits (10% of the total credits of the Master's Degree) that can be validated for the student's previous work and professional experience. These 6 ECTS correspond to those associated with the subjects "Quality Management Systems in Laboratories" and "Project Planning, Evaluation and Management". The recognition of credits for these two subjects will require demonstrable work experience for a period of at least one year. The tasks carried out during the accredited period must consist of the planning and management of projects in the field of Chemistry (Project Planning, Evaluation and Management) and/or management of activities and procedures associated with a quality system implemented in a laboratory (Quality Management Systems in Laboratories). Any documentation provided on work experience will, in any case, be previously studied and evaluated by the Academic Committee of the Master's Degree in Chemistry before proceeding to the recognition of credits.
