Dora Maar, the woman who no longer cries
Abstract
This article focuses on the specific study of one of the most outstanding artistic biographies of the 20th century (Dora Maar) and, at the same time, less studied by the shadow of the great Picassian genius with whom she shared part of his life. This event occurs repeatedly throughout the history of art. The female figure is quickly associated with her exclusive status as a muse. In any case, their names are misrepresented and hidden under the titles of "companion" and "lover", locked in the artist's drawer, with no possibility of being discovered or studied.
