Advice for teaching and research staff
What does this service consist of?: Provide reports to the teaching and research staff who request them with the quality indicators of the publications provided by the teaching staff (metrics and citations) for six-year research periods and other accreditation processes in which an evaluation of research activity is required.
Six-year periods 2025Due to the number of applications received and the need to organize the work in the Library, the deadline for requesting reports for the 2025 Six-Year Research Grants ends on December 5, 2025.
The number of publications for which evaluation is requested shall not exceed 10.
The report is prepared in a Google Drive document, the link to which will be shared with the applicant by the person responsible for the library, and it will be delivered at least one week before the deadline established by ANECA.

Once the request is received, the Research Portal working group will contact the researcher via email and, depending on the type of issue, the resolution period will be a maximum of one month.

What does this service consist of? Support in creating and updating research profiles. We offer guidance on the following profiles: ORCID, AuthorID (Scopus), ResearchID (WOS), Dialnet, and Google Scholar.
To make the process faster and more efficient, it is important that the researcher has their CV on hand, with complete information (including the DOI of publications whenever possible) and in a format that allows copying.
After requesting the service, library staff will contact you by phone or email within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. The consultation will take place in one or more sessions, depending on your needs. These sessions can be in person or via Google Meet.

The CRUE and the CSIC have signed agreements with the main academic and scientific publishers thanks to which researchers will be able to publish articles in open access without having to assume the cost of publication (Article Processing Charge – APC), as has been the norm until now.
