1st - The Inter-Center Rector's Trophy It is a competition modality made up of teams whose members may be university athletes affiliated with the same branch of knowledge (Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences and Engineering and Architecture).

University Residences and Halls of Residence, student exchange program groups, as well as groups of Administration and Services Staff of the ULL in the Rector's Intercenter Trophy are considered study centers, and the resident students of each residence or hall of residence may be members of their teams.

We would also like to remind you that teams can contain a maximum of one ALUMNI ULL member.

2nd - Loan of equipmentThe delegate of the home team (the team shown on the left of the schedule) must borrow two balls and a set of bibs, leaving their university ID card as a deposit until the equipment is returned. The collection point is the reception room located at the entrance to the SDULL facilities. If a ball is lost and not recorded by the referee in the match report, the delegate will be liable for an amount equal to the value of the borrowed equipment.

3rd - New athlete registrationsNew players can be registered until the day of the last match of the group stage. Each player must play at least one match during the group stage. A player who has played a match with one team cannot register with another.

4th Duration of matchesExcept for the specifics established in the competition regulations, the regulations of the Federation of the sport in question are applicable.

  • 11-a-side football: First phase and final phase, including semifinals (two 40-minute halves with running time) and the Final (two 45-minute halves). Unlimited substitutions are allowed. In the knockout final phase, in case of a tie, there is no extra time; matches are decided by a series of five penalty kicks.
  • Seven-a-side football and futsal: Two 25-minute halves played with a running clock. An unlimited number of substitutions are allowed. In the knockout stage, in case of a tie, there is no extra time; matches are decided by a penalty shootout of three penalties each.
  • Basketball: Four 10-minute periods with the clock stopped. Unlimited substitutions are allowed. In case of a tie, a five-minute overtime period is played to decide the winner.
  • Mixed Volleyball: The match will be played in a best-of-three sets format. The first two sets will be played to 25 points (with a two-point advantage for one team in case of a tie). The final set will be played to 15 points.

5th - Fair Play Score

In addition to the score for the result, fair play will be rewarded:

  • Futsal, 11-a-side football and 7-a-side football.
    • Teams that do not have any yellow cards: they get 1 point.
    • Teams that have no red cards and/or up to three yellow cards: add 2 points.
  • Basketball:
    • Teams that do not have any disqualifying sanctions: 1 point
    • No technique: 1 point.

MIXED CATEGORIES

  • Mixed Volleyball: Teams composed of 6 athletes (3 female players and 3 male players).
  • Mixed Basketball: Teams composed of 5 athletes (3 female players and 2 male players).
  • Mixed 7-a-side football: Teams made up of 6 outfield players (3 female and 3 male) and a goalkeeper.
  • Mixed Futsal: Teams made up of 4 athletes on the court (2 female players and 2 male players) and a goalkeeper.

SINGLE CATEGORIES (there is no male or female category)

Canarian ball, 11-a-side football and Envite. Teams made up of a number of athletes regardless of their sex, without a minimum for each.

Consult the fair play scoring in the SDULL internal competition regulations.

7th Place of play

  • Men's, women's, and mixed futsal: Central Pavilion of the Sports Service of La ULL.
  • Seven-a-side and 11-a-side football: SDULL grass pitch.
  • Mixed volleyball: Green Pavilion of the Sports Service of La ULL
  • Men's, women's and mixed basketball: ULL Central Pavilion.

8th – Competition system: It consists of a group stage and a knockout stage.

We will publish the schedules and pairings for the knockout stage once the group stage is over, respecting the position obtained in the group stage so that the best ranked teams do not face each other.

9th Schedules, meetings and no postponements of matches.

Days and times of the competition by sport:

  • Basketball: (Monday to Thursday from 2 pm to 5 pm)
  • Football 11, 7 and futsal: (Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
  • Volleyball: (Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

IMPORTANT: The matches of the Rector's Trophy DO NOT ALLOW POSTPONEMENTS OF THE MATCHES.

Therefore, before registering a team as a delegate, it is important to know and communicate to the rest of the team members this section on the regulations for postponing matches of the Rector's Trophy.

Registration fee payment: Once the minimum number of confirmed participants has been reached, you can pay the team registration fee. Please refer to the competition regulations for the fees.

Participants

Members of the University Community of the University of La Laguna may take part in these Competitions.

The champion teams will face the champion team of the Inter-center Rector's Trophy to designate the overall winner of the Rector's Trophy.

The champions of individual and pairs sports from the Rector's Trophy of Free Association and the winning team of the Absolute Rector's Trophy in each modality will be the ones who compete in the University Championship of the Canary Islands.

The sporting disciplines, which make up the final offering of the Rectoa Trophy in both modalities, will be conditional upon a minimum number of registrations.

Registration in the mixed modality of some team sports (5 or more athletes) may be FREE.
