Mobility programs

National mobility

SICUE

The Spanish University Exchange System (SICUE) allows students from Spanish universities to complete part of their studies at another university, with guarantees of academic recognition and credit transfer, as well as alignment with their curriculum. This program recognizes the educational value of exchange, enabling students to experience different teaching systems, including internships, as well as the diverse social and cultural aspects of other Autonomous Communities.

Bilateral agreements are established between the different universities to determine the departments, degree programs, number of places offered, and duration of the exchange. Student mobility will be based on the Academic Agreement. This document will describe the activities to be carried out at the host institution, which will be automatically recognized by the home institution.

International mobility

Erasmus Programme

The Vice-Rectorate for International Projection of the University of La Laguna plans, manages and coordinates mobility programs for students, teaching and research staff and administrative and service staff.

Erasmus is one of the four sectoral programs that focuses its efforts on higher education, universities, and advanced vocational training. The specific objectives of the Erasmus Programme are to support the creation of a European Higher Education Area and to encourage exchange, cooperation, and mobility between education and training systems within the European Union.

The University of La Laguna has signed agreements with various universities and institutions in current and future EU member states.

The selection of candidates is the responsibility of the centers, through the International Mobility Committee. Academic record and language proficiency in the language of the destination country will be assessed.
