Abstract

This paper shows the results obtained in a teaching innovation project aimed at the design of pedagogical instruments for the development of two transversal competences, within the framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA): Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and English language learning. Educational aspects of CSR were introduced in twenty-five subjects in fifteen different degree programmes. Didactic strategies of a participatory and flexible nature were designed, using Problem Based Learning (PBL), in a foreign language (English). The use of virtual classrooms and virtual campus tools («wikis» and forums) provide students with a diverse learning environment, with intense and selective participation in the execution of the programmed activities and in their particular learning process.
