The Internal Quality Assurance System (SAIC) (formerly the Internal Quality Assurance System - SGIC) represents the university's commitment to establishing and implementing a culture of quality in its educational programs, ensuring continuous improvement, and ensuring accountability.
It includes procedures designed based on the criteria and guidelines for quality assurance established in the EHEA (ESG, 2015), in national regulations and developed in the evaluation programs of quality agencies. They focus on activities related to the management, analysis, review and improvement of qualifications, teaching-learning focused on the student body, the teaching activity of the faculty, the satisfaction and opinion of the interest groups, the insertion labor of the people who graduated and the information public, among others.
Through the mechanisms and procedures established in the SAIC, the collection and continuous analysis of information and results relevant to the effective management of the title is guaranteed, as well as the participation of the interest groups.

The SAIC's governing bodies are committed to ensuring the quality of the degrees offered at the university and its centers and ensuring the continuous improvement of their results. They are structured into two levels:
Direct and promote the implementation and development of the SAICs, as they reinforce quality assurance and continuous improvement for centers and programs, facilitating monitoring, accreditation, and certification processes. It is also responsible for providing appropriate institutional support for the development of assessment and quality programs, ensuring their sustainability over time.
The Quality Assessment and Improvement Unit (UEMC) and its Technical Quality Unit (UTC) are responsible for managing and planning the SAIC design, implementation, and evaluation processes required to ensure continuous improvement at the center and its programs, as well as achieving established objectives, responding to the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
The UTC is also responsible for developing and providing framework documentation related to the evaluation and quality programs, and for providing technical advice and training to the stakeholders involved. It promotes the development of these processes through appropriate coordination with academic and quality managers, committees, self-assessment working groups, quality agencies, and other involved bodies/entities.
This body, and in particular its Dean or Director, is responsible for directing and promoting the center's assessment and quality programs. Its team includes a Center Quality Manager, who will be responsible for coordinating and developing the management of processes related to the implementation and assessment of the SAIC and the evaluation of degrees.

It is a body involved in the planning and monitoring of the SAIC and acts as one of the mechanisms for effective stakeholder participation, ensuring the quality and continuous improvement of the center and its programs.
