Abstract

This work investigates the presence of Nasrudin, his spirit, or his behaviour, together with his wisdom and madness (two extremes that come together in him) in art. Nasrudin is the main character of Sufi tales, representing a timeless archetype that inhabits not only certain artists and works of art, but also the inner human being. On a separate note, as part of the created atmosphere, I try to decode hidden meanings in the tales of Nasrudin, which are said to have various levels of comprehension. I also discover meanings that are hidden, not visible or evident in art. The priority objective is to carry out a work of research and creation. That is why, within the atmosphere of this research, using his ideas and images, I create modern tales of Nasrudin, tales in which I allow the imagination to fly , but that ar e based on what I have resear ched. Meanwhile, the ar tist Inma Jiménez illustrates these tales.
