Abstract

New levels of study trim hours away from artistic practice, especially in the field of drawing. This does not really constitute the foundation of art, but it is irreplaceable as a vehicle of visual thought. The Borges Salas cultural classroom, part of the Vice-Rectorate of Extracurricular Activities and Institutional Relations at the ULL (Universidad de la Laguna, Spain) opens up a space for practice and reflection on its field. It is a space open to art students and professionals to come together around drawing, to create, dialogue about it and discover their problems. It is a space open to creation and research that aspires to make specific contributions through practice.
