On Fragments, Repetition, Rhythm, Permutation, Randomness and Vagueness in Phonetic and Sonorous Poetry
Abstract
This text aims to analyse, to examine minutely and exhibit the most relevant elements and factors, which, for the last thirty years, I have used in the creation process of my phonetic and sonorous poetry. I have tried to separate them, differentiate them and go into each in depth, not only to discover the motivation and the intensity hidden within them and help find new creative paths, but also to search for certain characteristics or details that the reader can identify with, thereby stimulating his/her own personal creative practice. I take as my starting point the belief that the development of artistic practice, whether individual or collective, is motivated and caused not only by the finished product, but by theory that underlies it, and that this is sometimes not visible.
