From Digitization Protocols to Critical Edition of Images
Abstract
This article analyses a specific case included in the discipline «Critical edition of images», based on the initiative of Inocencio Galindo Mateo the main researcher of the group called: Elástica Variable, who has suggested the need to establish standard digital editing criteria in response to the need to comprehensively address digital imaging reproduction; criteria that are particularly relevant in the case of images when the condition of these has changed the original content thereof. The content of this work describes the main aim of this discipline, which consists in analysing images that are going to be reproduced and the procedure used by the author to restore their hypothetical original condition by using software, once they have been digitalised.
