Degree in Computer Engineering

Teaching coordination

There is a coordinator for each of the four courses of the Computer Engineering degree. Within each course, the main mission is to achieve a balance between the activities of each subject so that the students' dedication does not experience moments of overload throughout each semester. These coordination activities, both within a course and between courses, will be developed within the Academic Planning Committee of the Degree. This committee must convene at least two meetings per semester of all the teaching staff responsible for the subjects.

Coordination activities include:

  • Coordination of teaching activities between the subjects of each course.
  • Preparation of teaching guides for the subjects assigned to each subject, ensuring that their content is appropriate to the competencies described in this report.
  • Coordination of each subject and the activity developed by the teachers in charge of teaching them.
  • Coordination of the training plan through the management team and the Qualification Committee, ensuring the achievement of the center's quality objectives.

Given the eminently practical nature of the degree, special attention will be paid in teaching coordination to achieving an appropriate time schedule for laboratory practices between the different subjects. As a starting point, it will be guaranteed that the groups of students who can be trained in the same subject carry out similar activities and are assessed with a common system.
