Master's Degree in Advance Pedagogical Studies

Support and guidance

The support and guidance made available to students once they have registered for the degree is in accordance with section 4.3 of the degree’s Verification Report.

In this sense, in addition to the management and coordination functions of the degree, the Master’s Management acts as a general tutor for students, as a reference when advising students on academic issues related to the master’s degree, supporting the tutoring work carried out by the lecturers of each of the subjects and, in particular, by the subject coordinator. This tutorial function is shared and personalised through the tutors of the subjects Final Master’s Thesis and External Placements.

Through the different levels of tutoring-teaching co-ordination (Academic Director, Subject Coordinator, Master’s Final Project Tutor, External Work Placement Tutor, etc.) a direct and continuous relationship is maintained with students, which allows for the detection and diagnosis of the causes of difficulties in academic performance and learning processes, and enables their scope and effectiveness to be assessed and reported to the Academic Committee, where appropriate.

In addition to the existing structures at the centre level, the ULL has an Information and Guidance Service (SIO) aimed at informing, advising and guiding future students and the university community in general. The SIO has three different areas: an information area (scholarships and grants, university training proposals, procedures, rights and duties, deadlines and procedures, etc.), a Psychopedagogical Advice Service and a Legal Advice Service. You can access the SIO through the following link.
