Master's Degree in Advance Pedagogical Studies

Final Master’s Project (TFM)

The Final Master’s Project (TFM) is a compulsory subject and is a key part of the degree, given that it includes the assessment of a large number of specific and generic competences of the degree, as can be seen in the corresponding Teaching Guide.

The Master’s Final Project (TFM) involves carrying out a project in accordance with the established lines or areas of research. It also consists of its presentation and defence, according to the TFM regulations of the ULL.

By means of the template, form and/or learning outcomes assessment report, the tribunals in charge of assessing the TFM assess the extent to which the degree competences and learning outcomes have been acquired.

General requirements for the TFM

Students must meet the following general requirements in order to complete the Master’s dissertation:

  • Any academic requirement established by the degree in its Verification/Modification Report and in the teaching guide of the subject.

To ensure the suitability of the TFM to the characteristics of the degree, students have the guidance and direction of their work through the tutor assigned from among the teaching staff who have taught on the master’s degree, depending on the subject chosen by the students.

The Academic Committee of the Master’s Degree will approve the topics that students may request to carry out their TFM, their tutors, the assignment criteria, the composition of the assessment panel, which, where appropriate, will judge the corresponding TFM and some basic rules of style, length and structure that the TFM report must have.

In order to improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the TFM report and its public defence, specific criteria are established which can be consulted in the Teaching Guide of the subject, in the TFM regulations and in the instructions published for this purpose. Further information.

The TFM will conclude with the defence of the same, which will necessarily be public. The panels will be made up of lecturers who teach on the degree, and a chairperson and secretary will be appointed from among them.
