Ambiguities in 3D: impossible figures
Abstract
Traditional or Euclidian perspective feeds on some structural components of logical construction. But perspective nowadays is a matter of opinion; it is not uniquely something from the past since it continues to inform not only our perception, but also our discourse and thought. We can conceive the project by taking on this perspective or undoing it, or better still, deconstructing it... using it in a disciplined manner or converting it into fun games until its own boundaries end up confused. What we cannot deny is that perspective is a valid method of constructing images destined to create illusion.
