Access, admission and registration

Access

Admission is the set of requirements necessary to pursue university studies. Compliance with these requirements is prior to admission to the courses to be taken. Those who meet the required requirements may access the Master's degree:

  • Possession of an official university degree, another expressly declared equivalent or an official university degree obtained in accordance with university education systems prior to that established in Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29 (BOE No. 260, of October 30).
  • Possession of a degree from the University of La Laguna, or equivalent from another university, with a minimum duration of 120 ECTS credits.
  • Proof of having completed at least 180 ECTS credits corresponding to official undergraduate studies. In this case, authorisation from the rector will be required, following a reasoned request from the academic director of the own degree. In addition, the undergraduate studies must be completed before the own degree is issued, which will not be issued until proof of completion is provided.

In this case, authorization by resolution from the Rector will be required, although any additional prior training requirements deemed necessary may be established in this case.

The above sections shall be understood without prejudice to the provisions of article 17.2 and the fourth additional provision of Royal Decree 1393/2007, of October 29.
