Master's Degree in Communicative Innovation in Organizations

Recognition and transfer of credits

The Recognition of Credits implies the acceptance by the University of the credits obtained, taking into account what is established in the Verification/Modification Report of the Degree and the provisions of the applicable regulations, that is, Regulations on Recognition, Adaptation and Transfer of Credits from the University of La Laguna (modified at the Governing Council meeting of 19 March 2021), through:

  • Official University Education
  • Own Titles
  • Accreditation of Work and Professional Experience
  • Participation in National and International Mobility Programs

Chapter II of the Regulations governs the rules for the recognition and transfer of credits. As applicable to Master's studies, Article 4 establishes the following rules:

  • Credit recognition will be for the total credits of a subject and recognition of a partial number of credits will not be considered.
  • The Master's Final Project cannot be subject to recognition.
  • Only credits obtained in studies belonging to the same cycle: bachelor's or master's degree will be recognized.
  • Credits obtained in bachelor's degree courses from previous university degree systems may be recognised in official university master's degree courses depending on the suitability of content and/or skills between them.

Credits for this subject will be granted to those who duly prove professional experience for a minimum period of one year full-time, or two years part-time, as: communications director; member of a press office; political advisor; communications manager in organizations, companies and institutions; advertising creative; marketing manager; designer of campaigns, logos or the corporate image of an organization; researcher in advertising and communication; advertising account executive; community manager; media planner or event organizer.

The justification for this recognition is given because in order to perform professionally in the aforementioned areas of public relations, advertising, marketing and corporate and political communication, the skills specified in the External Internship subject must have been previously acquired.

Information on recognition, adaptation and transfer of credits is available on the ULL institutional website.
