Anti-Plagiarism andGenerative Artificial Intelligence Policy

Cuadernos del CEMYR is a scientific journal that publishes original, unpublished works, which is why it is committed to taking action against plagiarism, self-plagiarism and scientific misconduct. This includes the fraudulent use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools. Authors are required to read the journal’s  Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement .  Cuadernos del CEMYR is also in compliance with the ethical guidelines on plagiarism, academic fraud and the use of GenAI in education and research outlined by  COPE, OASPA , DOAJ and UNESCO.

The journal guarantees the originality of all the submitted manuscripts through anti-plagiarism and GenAI writing detection software provided by Universidad de La Laguna Library. This policy ensures the appropriate originality standards as well as the detection of similarities between texts submitted for publication and those published previously in other sources. In the event of plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected.

The enabled Antiplagiarism and GenAI writing detection tool is Turnitin. Information about this tool and instructions for its use can be found on: https://www.ull.es/servicios/biblioteca/antiplagio/.
