Horacio en las Epístolas en verso de Tomás de Iriarte
Abstract
Horace was particularly relevant in the 18th century, specially in relation to literary precepts. Some of the genres cultivated by this poet were later assimilated by some writers of the 18th century. In this paper I am trying to study the influence of one ot those genres, the verse epistle, on an author from the Canary Island, Tomás de Iriarte, who was famous for his literary fables as well as for his qualities as a humanist.
