The Editorial Board of the journal will conduct a preliminary analysis of the received manuscript.
If the manuscript is considered suitable for publication, an editor from the Editorial Board will be assigned.
The editor will notify the author that their manuscript is eligible to begin the review process.
Peer Review
If the submission belongs to a section requiring anonymous peer review, the responsible editor will assign two or more reviewers, who accept the completion of the review within the deadlines set by the journal.
Once the peer-review is completed, the responsible editor will receive a notification.
The reviewers will follow the criteria established in the Peer Review Policy.
Once the blind peer review is completed, the responsible editor will analyze the reviewers’ recommendations and decide:
Accept Submission: Ready to proceed without the need for an additional review.
Publishable with Modifications: Minor changes required that will be notified to the author.
Resubmit for Review: Major changes needed, that will be subjected to another round of review, being notified to the author.
Not Publishable: Rejected being notified to the author.
If reviews provide conflicting recommendations, an additional reviewer will be selected.
Once the reviews are completed, the responsible editor who monitors the process will confirm the recommendations of the reviews.
