Ehitc Use of Artificial Intelligence

Fortunatae recognizes the growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in academic research and the writing of scientific articles. To ensure integrity and transparency in the publication of research, the journal establishes the following guidelines on the use of AI by authors:

1. Transparency and Declaration of AI Use

Authors must disclose any use of AI tools in the research process, data analysis, manuscript writing, or editing. This information should be included in the methodology section or in the acknowledgments of the article.

2. Responsibility for Content

The final responsibility for the content rests with the authors. Manuscripts entirely generated by AI without substantial human intervention will not be accepted. Authors must ensure the accuracy, originality, and validity of the information presented in their manuscripts.

3. Intellectual Property and Plagiarism

The use of AI to generate text without critical review and significant editing by the authors is prohibited. Manuscripts will be subjected to plagiarism detection tools to ensure the originality of the content, as outlined in our Plagiarism Detection Editorial Policy.

4. Use of AI in Data Analysis

If AI algorithms are used for data analysis, authors must provide a detailed description of the models employed, the parameters used, and the interpretation of the results. Open access to codes and datasets in public repositories is recommended when possible.

5. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure that the use of AI in their research adheres to ethical principles, including the protection of personal data and the absence of algorithmic biases that could affect the validity of the results.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the rejection of the manuscript in accordance with the journal's Plagiarism Detection Editorial Policy. For any questions about the application of these rules, authors may contact the journal's Chief Editor.
