Oraciones subordinadas finales: la función de los modos subjuntivo y optativo en griego antiguo
Abstract
The subjunctive and optative moods are considered as fulfilling in the final clauses the double value recognized for these moods in the main sentences, voluntative and prospective (subjunctive), cupitive and potential (optative). However, the impressive and expressive functions of the language do not preserve their characteristics in subordination, so the autor analizes whether it is the potential and prospective values which do appear only in those clauses.
