Historiadores y poetas citados en las Historias de Orosio: Livio y Tácito, Virgilio y Lucano
Abstract
The article deals with the quotations from classical sources in Orosius' Historiarum adversum paganos libri VII. It analyses the way in which Orosius makes use of pagan authors -through their direct and indirect quotations- in a work on Universal History written from a christian point of view and conceived as a tool to counter pagan opposition to Christian development.
