Gramática, traducción y lengua en Ioannis Vilarás (1771-1823)
Abstract
The author presents in this article Velaras’s brief treatise The Romeic Language, Corfu, 1814, a key guide on the vindication of spoken Greek. His linguistic proposals, as well as the stylistic and translation decisions of the author are succinctly analyzed and commented on in order to defend its importance for Greek studies.
