Una defensa de la teoría geocéntrica de Platón en época de Copérnico
Abstract
The Sevilian humanist Sebastián Fox Morcillo wrote several commentaries about some of Plato’s dialogues. One of the topics dealt with by this humanist was the issue of the location of the Earth in the Universe. Even though he is acquainted with Copernico’s novel theories, he rejects them to favour the Platonic ideas.
