Andrea Guarna’s Bellum Grammaticale in its translations and in the drama
Abstract
The author of this paper enumerates and comments on the translations into modern languages of the «War of the Grammar» written in Latin by the humanist Andrea Guarna in 1511. The paper also includes an analysis of the dramatizations by playwrights from various European countries inspired by Guarna’s work.
