The translation of the Bible by P. Felipe Scío and its time
Abstract
In this paper I make a particular attempt to contextualize the translation of the Bible produced by Felipe Scío de San Miguel with the criteria for, topics, manners and ways of translating that reigned at that time, the ends of the 18th century. In addition I seek to emphasize the criteria that the author followed in his translation, adding others that we consider to be of interest.
