Corrections
Articles and other types of documents published in Clepsydra: International Journal of Gender Studies and Feminist Theory will be kept current, accurate, and unchanged as much as possible. However, exceptional circumstances may arise that require the correction, retraction, or removal of an article. These actions will be taken after careful consideration by the journal's editorial team, following the guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to ensure transparency and integrity of the academic record.
Errata
An erratum notice will be published when it is necessary to correct an error or omission made by the journal after publication that may affect the publication record or the reputation of the authors or the journal, but where the academic integrity of the article remains intact. The notice will provide clear details of the error and the changes made to the document.
Corrections
A correction notice will be issued when it is necessary to correct an error or omission made by an author that affects the publication record or the reputation of the authors or the journal, but where the academic integrity of the article remains intact. The notice must provide clear details of the error and the changes made to the document.
Retractions
A retraction notice will be published when a significant error invalidates the conclusions of the article, or when there has been misconduct in research or publication. A separate retraction statement will be issued, titled 'Retraction: [article title]', which will be linked to the retracted article. This note will be signed by the journal's editorial team.
Article Removal
Article removal will be carried out in exceptional circumstances where the problems are of a very serious nature and cannot be addressed through a correction or retraction notice. In this case, metadata (authorship and title) will be retained, and the text will be replaced with a document stating that the article has been removed for legal reasons
