No 30 (2026): Cartographies of the Manosphere

This issue is grounded in a dual operation. On the one hand, it seeks to map (to render legible its discursive, media, and affective architectures); on the other, it aims to problematize (to interrogate its cultural productivity, its capacity to reorganize hegemony, and its entanglement with neoliberal economies of subjectivation). The notion of *produsage* proves particularly fruitful here, as it allows us to approach the manosphere not merely as a set of consumed messages, but as a cultural machinery in which users and creators co-produce meanings, repertoires, and stigmas, amplified by platform logics and monetization dynamics.

This issue has been co-ordinated by Dunia Etura Hernández (Universidad de Valladolid), Elena Esteban Ramos (RTVE/ Universidad de Valladolid) y Asunción Bernárdez Rodal (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

Hosted by the Instituto Universitario de Estudios de las Mujeres at the Universidad de La Laguna (Canaries, Spain), it invites contributions of articles in Gender, Feminist and Women Studies from diverse perspectives and disciplines. The journal is indexed in the following databases: Dialnet, Latindex, ERIHPLUS, CINDOC, DICE, MIAR, CNEAI, RESH, WorldCat, Dulcinea and Sherpa/Romeo.
