Taking the entrance exam for the first time with a high school diploma obtained in previous years

IMPORTANT: Students who took the University Entrance Exams (PAU) at the University of La Laguna (ULL) in the June 2026 session, whether they passed or not, and wish to take them in the July 2026 session, do not need to submit this application. They should contact their high school/college to register for the PAU.

Students who have passed the Baccalaureate, COU or equivalent in the 2024-25 academic year or earlier, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and have NOT previously taken the university entrance exam, you must first submit an application through the ULL electronic headquarters requesting your registration for the test.

NOTEIf you passed your Baccalaureate at a center located in a province other than Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the first time you take the PAU you must do so in the territorial area to which that educational center belongs.

Application submission deadline

  • Call June ordinary session of 2026From 10:00 on April 27th until 14:00 on May 8th, 2026.
  • Call for extraordinary July 2026: from 10:00 on June 17th until 14:00 on June 19th, 2026.

Documentation to be submitted

  • Students who do not have a DNI or NIE must present a copy of their validly issued passport or equivalent identity card.
  • Baccalaureate transcript showing the average grade.

IMPORTANTThe estimation of the application does not imply in itself the registration in the PAU, Therefore, once the application has been successfully submitted through the ULL website, the student will receive an email indicating how to proceed with the PAU registration process. See the procedure and location for registration for the PAU.
