ZONE 1. TABAIBAL CARDONAL

This area of the garden is dedicated to the vegetation zone that is best adapted to this plot. The most thermophilic species of the laurel forest and the species of the thermo-sclerophyllous zone are thriving, requiring the least amount of water and readily naturalizing and germinating, colonizing new areas of the garden. This colonization includes not only herbaceous and shrubby plants but also trees such as the wild olive and the juniper.

The initial work on this plot began in 2017 and continues to this day. The working method is the same as in the other plots of the thermophilic zone, with the planting of trees and shrubs first, followed by pruning and thinning to allow the undergrowth to colonize the soil.
