The university communities of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and the University of La Laguna (ULL) They wish to express their deepest condolences to the Venezuelan people, following the recent earthquakes that have shaken the country and caused hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries.
Both public universities in the Canary Islands want to convey their condolences to the families of the deceased. their solidarity in these difficult times. And they show their support, especially, to the entire Canarian community residing in the country, more than 70,000 islanders who still have social, cultural and academic ties with the Archipelago.
