With a PhD in Regional Development (Cum Laude) from the University of La Laguna and an Extraordinary Doctoral Award, she combines a solid engineering background with international experience in projects related to water, sustainability, and combating climate change. She has participated in European initiatives such as H2020, INTERREG, and ERASMUS+. She currently serves on the 2030 Agenda Committee and the Committee of Experts on Climate Change of the Government of the Canary Islands, and has been recognized for developing the SICMA Canarias platform, a key tool for anticipating and mitigating the effects of climate change in the archipelago.
