The University Extension Service organizes and manages educational and cultural activities aimed at both the university community and all sectors of society in general. It fosters and promotes relationships between the University of La Laguna and the surrounding community, with the goal of collaboratively participating in numerous sociocultural initiatives. Acting as a link between the University and society, we embrace our educational mission within the university setting, offering a wide range of educational and cultural programs. We aspire to expand our reach, openness, and integration, welcoming new proposals and assuming the social responsibility of disseminating knowledge and transmitting culture.

Services offered to the user

  • Institutional Relations: set of actions for the development of agreements and collaboration agreements with other public and/or private entities in the social and cultural environment.
  • Management of the cultural heritage of the ULL with actions aimed at inventorying, organizing and disseminating the artistic heritage of the ULL.
  • The management of cultural spaces: coordination of the schedule of activities to be carried out in the University Auditorium, the Pablo González Vera Auditorium Art Gallery, the Viana 50 Multipurpose Room, and the Museum of Education. Also, coordinating their maintenance and equipment.
  • Organization of exhibitions: promoting the visual arts among the university community by facilitating the holding of exhibition events.
  • Coordination of the activities of the cultural groups of the ULL: activities of the Polyphonic Choir of the ULL, the Camerata Lacunensis, Symphonic Band, Tunas, Folk Groups, Cultural Classrooms and Chairs, etc.
  • The organization of the ULL cultural and artistic awards: competitions and contests aimed at promoting artistic creation.
  • The University Program for Seniors (aimed at people over 50 years of age without the need for prior qualifications).
  • University-Society Forums (spaces for reflection).
  • Summer Universities (on all islands).
