Analysis and Planning Office (GAP)

The Analysis and Planning Office supports and advises the Governing Bodies and various management units of the University of La Laguna in two key areas: the processing of data-based information to transform it into knowledge that can support decision-making, and the study and simplification of university processes to optimize the working methods of its various units and facilitate electronic access for users. The Analysis and Planning Office aims to be an absolutely reliable service, recognized by the university community as the leading authority in data and process analysis. It centralizes and consolidates all statistical information and modernizes the procedures relevant to the University of La Laguna to, through this dual approach, promote informed planning, efficient management, and continuous improvement. Services offered to the user

  • Management of the rights of personal data holders (Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition).
  • Training and support for users and managers of the ULL Headquarters.
  • Design of editable forms for publishing on the web.
  • Maintenance and updating of electronic procedures at the ULL Headquarters.
  • Design and publication of electronic procedures at the ULL Headquarters.
  • Dynamic queries: design of data transfer processes between the different management applications of the ULL, as well as preparation of lists and reports that allow other users to automate obtaining information.
  • Data supply: extraction from institutional databases of information required by other services or external agents to fulfill their purposes (personal data for preparing censuses, average grades for student aid, contact data for conducting surveys, among others).
  • Indicators: design and obtaining indicators that help measure the academic and research activity of the ULL, as well as the quality of the services provided to the user.
  • Reports and Statistics: official figures from the ULL for both external agents (Ministry of Education, INE, CRUE, for example) and for internal use of the university itself (EBAU, access, enrollment, academic report, among others).
