Registration information for those over 40 years of age

IMPORTANT: Before submitting the application and paying the registration fee, check that you can prove work or professional experience related to the university education or studies you are applying for (minimum 15 years).

Under no circumstances will registered users be entitled to a refund of fees and public prices if they ultimately do not obtain the access or accesses they requested.

Registration requirements

Those eligible to apply for this access procedure are those who meet the following conditions before December 31, 2026:

  • Be or have reached the age of 40.
  • Not hold any academic qualifications that qualify for university admission through other channels. For these purposes, passing the PAM-25 at any Spanish university, or the PAM-45 at any public university in the Canary Islands, is considered to qualify the candidate for university admission through other channels.
  • Proof of work or professional experience related to the university education or programs you are applying for. This experience, whether continuous or discontinuous, must total a minimum of fifteen years.

Registration application

 Submission deadline: from September 22 until 2:00 p.m. on October 2, 2025.

Applicants must indicate in the application the grade or grades for which they are requesting access.

Documentation to be provided for registration

In accordance with the provisions of article 28 of the Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations (BOE No. 236, of October 2), the University of La Laguna may collect electronically through its corporate networks or a consultation to the data intermediation platforms or other electronic systems enabled for this purpose, unless the interested party objects to this, through the electronic procedure corresponding, the documents indicated in the following sections.

Applicants are not required to present a National Identity Document (DNI) or Foreigner Identification Number (NIE). Identification will be provided through the "ULL Credential" or electronic certificate, and data intermediation will be performed using the Identity Data Verification and Query Service (SVDI) of the Data Intermediation Platform (PID).

If the interested party exercises the right to object as indicated in the first section, they must submit a copy of said documents.

Documentation proving academic studies that justify the higher level of studies completed by the applicant.

3.1. If the student's previous studies were within the Spanish education system, the University of La Laguna will electronically verify the level of studies completed by selecting the corresponding box on the registration form.

If the interested party exercises the right to object as indicated in the first section, they must provide a certificate from the regional education department in their autonomous community stating the highest level of education completed by the applicant.

3.2.- If the applicant's previous studies were completed in an educational system other than Spanish, an official certificate issued by the competent ministry or consular representation certifying the highest level of education completed by the applicant must be provided. This document must be legalized through diplomatic channels, and if issued in another language, translated into Spanish.

Documentation proving professional experience:

They must present a list of their work or professional experience in chronological order.

  • The candidates employed women must provide:
    • Certification from the General Treasury of Social Security, the Social Institute of the Navy, if applicable, or the Mutual Society to which they are affiliated, or equivalent in the case of foreign organizations, stating the company, the employment category (contribution group) and the period of employment (work history). The assessment will be carried out monthly, as provided in the Annex V.
    • Original and copy of the respective employment contracts and their extensions, if applicable, that certify the candidate's work experience or, where applicable, appointment by the corresponding administration.
  • The candidates self-employed or freelance workers They must provide certification from the General Treasury of Social Security, the Social Institute of the Navy, if applicable, or the Mutual Society to which they are affiliated, or equivalent in the case of foreign organizations, of the periods of registration in the corresponding special regime and a description of the activity carried out and the time interval in which it has been carried out.

All documentation proving professional experience must be submitted in a single PDF file using the procedure enabled on the electronic site.

Documentation proving training:

They must prepare a list of the accredited training in chronological order, and must provide supporting documentation for the training related to the official university undergraduate degree chosen, specifying the number of hours of training received.

Documentation proving the right to exemption or bonus:

If you are entitled to exemption or bonus of public tuition prices, must present the documentation that proves it.

However, the University of La Laguna may collect by electronic means the accreditation of the status of person with disability or the status of member of a large family, unless the interested person opposes it, through the electronic procedure corresponding.
