The Publications Service is the sole publishing arm of the University of La Laguna and its mission is the publication, marketing, and exchange of the scientific, teaching, technical, and cultural output produced at the University. It supports study, teaching, and research. It provides the necessary resources for the publication, dissemination, and distribution of books, journals, and other University of La Laguna publications. It contributes to the advancement of education, research, and culture at the University, adhering to standards of quality and efficiency.

Services offered to the user

  • Dissemination and promotion of knowledge about the works published by the University, among the university community and other external clients, both national and international, through participation in various book fairs, or through UNE activities. Management and processing of the publishing contract with the author and distributor.
  • Management of published scientific journals.
  • Scientific exchange of periodicals and books published/received by the Service.
  • Marketing of published works to the university community.
  • Distribution of the publishing catalog on a national and international scale, through the relevant channels.
  • Management of ISBN, ISSN and Legal Deposit of your publications.
  • Management of the editorial processes of books and magazines published by the Service.
  • Processing of the Publishing Contract.
  • Cooperation with other publishers, publishing services, institutions or associations for the production of co-editions.
  • Reprint of out-of-print books.
  • Publishing books and magazines in different formats.
