X International Tenerife Noir Congress of Research in the Noir Genre

March 4 - March 6

The Antonio Lozano Chair of Criminal Genre Studies and the Department of Spanish Philology at the University of La Laguna, in coordination with Tenerife Noir and the Atlantic Noir Festival, are organizing the 10th Tenerife Noir International Congress on Noir Genre Research. This event will serve as a meeting point for researchers specializing in the crime genre. Given its open and interdisciplinary nature, the seminar aims to be a valuable and productive gathering for both experts and emerging researchers in noir fiction and film, who will have the opportunity to interact with readers and writers.

This event will be held in person at the Guajara Campus of the University of La Laguna between March 4 and 6, 2026. The objective of this meeting is to offer new perspectives on the study of different manifestations of the noir genre, especially literary and audiovisual ones, and to develop reflections that contribute to the analysis of these creative productions.
