VIII World Congress with Children and Adolescents

November 20 - November 27

The 8th World Congress on Childhood and Adolescence, to be held online from November 20 to 27, 2026, is an international forum for meeting, reflection, and scientific exchange on childhood, adolescence, education, and well-being. Under the theme “Emotional Education and Well-being in Times of Social Polycrisis,” the congress will address the challenges faced by children and adolescents in a global context marked by profound social, cultural, and emotional transformations. The initiative promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and the collective construction of knowledge regarding well-being, participation, and children's rights.

This eighth edition is supported by a broad international academic network comprised of thirteen universities from Europe, America, and Africa, solidifying its position as an international benchmark in the field of childhood and adolescence. Furthermore, it incorporates new participation formats, such as Expert Panels, along with more than sixty thematic areas for the presentation of scientific papers and innovative experiences.

The congress is based on a consolidated track record of success: the previous edition brought together more than 500 participants from Africa, America, Asia and Europe, with around 300 academic and professional presentations.

From the Institutional Chair of Childhood and Adolescence of the University of La Laguna (ULL) We join in promoting this international initiative, reinforcing our commitment to the promotion of the rights, participation, and well-being of children and adolescents. The Chair maintains an active collaboration with international conferences specializing in childhood and adolescence and participates in promoting these spaces for scientific and professional exchange.
