The Canary Islands Ecodesign and Circular Economy Hackathon is a face-to-face meeting of open innovation and collaborative work aimed at generating solutions with potential for real application in the Archipelago.

Over the course of an intensive day, multidisciplinary teams will tackle challenges related to waste prevention, management, reuse, and valorization. With the guidance of mentors, they will transform their ideas into proposals for circular products, services, processes, technological solutions, or business models.

The event is part of the ecodesign promotion activities included in Action 4.2.1 of the Canary Islands Circular Economy Action Plan 2024–2026 and seeks to promote green entrepreneurship, sustainable innovation and collaboration between university, business, administration and citizens.
