Seminario: “Introduction to biomaterials”

La Prof. Dra. Dagmara Malina, de la Universidad Politécnica de Cracovia (Polonia) pronunciará la conferencia titulada: “Introduction to biomaterials”

Abstract:
The teaching staff member will present contemporary information about materials applied in medicine (need, types, features, applications, examples) mainly focusing on bioceramic and polymer biomaterials, used as bone or teeth substitutions or wound dressings. Then, examples of materials obtained by the research team of the teaching staff member with their initial characteristics will be presented, as well as prototypes of the biomaterials discussed.
