Seminario: “Nanometals – principles and applications”

La Prof. Dra. Dagmara Malina, de la Universidad Politécnica de Cracovia (Polonia) pronunciará la conferencia titulada: “Nanometals – principles and applications”

Abstract:
The teaching staff member will present the principles of nanotechnology, applications of nanomaterials, and discuss risk assessment and environmental impact. After the theoretical introduction, the teaching staff member will talk about the methods of obtaining, characterizing, and assessing the toxicity of metal nanoparticles. Examples of research on nanotechnology of the teaching staff member will be presented, and issues on the risk assessment of nanomaterial
applications will be discussed. The seminar will be enriched by a demonstration of examples of engineered nanoparticles in liquid and dried form.
