The Directorate of Cooperation and Mobility with Africa and Latin America of the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization and Cooperation launches the second edition of the interdisciplinary workshop "Stories of the Global South: other voices, other perspectives", a space for meeting, reflection and collective creation around the narratives, voices and representations of the Global South.

Rather than offering a single perspective on the Global South, the workshop aims to raise questions, foster dialogue between different viewpoints, and create a space for shared creation where students can actively participate in constructing alternative narratives and perspectives. In this sense, it proposes a critical and decolonial approach to the concept of the Global South and its forms of representation, while also inviting reflection on the role of communication, participatory methodologies, and artistic creation in the construction and expression of diverse narratives and perspectives.

The program combines five discussion sessions and two experiential sessions, structured around reflection, dialogue, collaborative work, and artistic creation. The first sessions will offer an introduction to the concept of the Global South and participatory methodologies, as well as spaces for dialogue about the voices of the Global South and the ways in which its realities are communicated and represented. The program will include participants from diverse backgrounds and territories, fostering the exchange of experiences and perspectives.
