The seminar aims to discuss and share experiences related to adaptation processes in the face of tourism. • Re-conceptualization of territories and living spaces.
• Processes of constructing the individual and collective past, as well as identities.
• Ritualization of personal relationships and configuration of stereotypes.
• Adjustment of life expectancies.
• Staging, concealment, protection or enclosure of spaces and symbols.
• The re-signification and adaptation of cultural practices and forms of leisure.
• Practices of resistance: from organized protest to covert resistance.
• Discursive practices that legitimize mass tourism.
