RETI (Excellence Network of Island Territories/Réseau d’excellence des territoires insulaires) is a network of 27 island-based universities spanning six continents interested in developing closer research and education collaborations between the member institutions.
Their research interests span a broad range of human activity from environment and climate change to natural resources including fisheries and aquaculture as well as the questions of identity, culture and heritage and governance of island jurisdictions and sub-jurisdictions.
