The fifth edition of Campus America is coming, from October 19 to 30, a space for evaluating and promoting the internationalization actions of the University of La Laguna with the American continent, this year with Chile as the guest country.

The closing conference of Campus America 2026 will be delivered by Mr. Alfonso Urresti, Senator for the Los Ríos Region (Chile), who will speak on “Current Challenges of the Ecological Transition and Sustainable Development.” This address will bring the Campus to a close with a high-level reflection on the major contemporary challenges of the ecological transition, addressing the balance between economic development, environmental sustainability, and social justice. From an institutional and territorial perspective, the conference will underscore the importance of public policies, international cooperation, and collective commitment to advancing toward more sustainable development models, concluding the Campus with a critical, inspiring, and future-oriented perspective.
