The University of La Laguna is organizing the training course 'Psychological Strategies for Checkmate', which will be held from October 6 to 15, 2026. This is a 20-hour training course, offered in person or online, focused on the application of psychology to chess from an educational and sporting perspective.

The course will cover topics such as learning, self-confidence, motivation, emotional regulation, concentration, decision-making, and psychological training applied to chess performance.
